There was maintenance a while back, so we home that this year xbox live servers will handle the load. It was good that the servers didn't go out when Fable 2 came out.

My experience with Points2Shop

How can I complete offers faster?
I would recommend downloading and using RoboForm because when it asks you for personal info, RoboForm can submit the form without all the information being entered. Also, make a second email you will use to complete offers, but use your real email to sign up for the rewards site allows you to make a 2nd email for offers, but make sure its real so you get credited.
To quickly click no to all the questions in an offer, keep on clicking right key, then tab. This will select no to all of them.

--------------------------------------------

How can I make sure all the offers credit for me?
Take your time while doing offers.
Points2Shop will more likely credit an offer if you do it slowly and use real information. Use a valid email and address (you won't get anything mailed to you from offers). If you are having trouble with crediting, read Points2Shop's FAQ.

Good Luck!

Facts about Xbox Live
Should Xbox live gold be free?
I have a poll, "Should xbox live gold be free?" At any one time, over 91% of voters say xbox live should be free. The main concern is that if everyone could play online multilayer in xbox live, there would be lots of spam. By spam, I mean people would be killing teammate, people would be shouting and advertising in lobbies, etc. If you could make an unlimited amount of free xbox live accounts, there would be no way to ban people. I think Microsoft should host more tournaments in games where we can win free xbox live gold, or Microsoft should award better players so they don't have to pay for their xbox live gold. Some game makers may also do this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Do all games require xbox live gold for online multilayer?
Some xbox gamers may have found a way to play for free online in Halo 3. In my poll of "What is your favorite xbox live game?", Halo 3 is winning. The new xbox experience came out today. The update installs on your xbox 360. Then there is a cool video which demonstrates the power of the xbox 360. Xbox live gold members can enter in a contest. I think the new xbox 360 experience feels like wii because of the avatars. The only thing I hate on the new xbox experience is how some people join parties to talk while they game, so not everyone can communicate. You can now copy your xbox 30 games to the xbox 360 hard drive. In the case of Halo 3, copying the game to the hard drive may slow down load times because it will need to read and write from the hard drive, not from the DVD. Some games will benefit from being copied to the xbox 360 hard drive. I can now play a game on my scratched disk. You still need to have the game disk in the drive so the game can be verified, but after the game has started the game disk doesn't spin, reducing wear. This is a great time to get xbox live gold, but if you can't afford xbox live old, you can get free xbox live codes.

Have another question?

I believe Free Xbox Live is a service that is both a gift and a curse. Yes, you have to pay for it. Yes they ban people sometimes for no reason. Yes if your Xbox breaks and you get a new one you need to redownload everything even if you have the same hard drive. But obviously there are arguments that are positive for charging for such a service, even comparing it to the other gaming systems. It is a microcosm of the way America works today. We are inundated with things that we are used to getting for free or reduced price but little by little we get made to pay more for it. Not only do we have to pay internet bills to have a connection, we have to pay a subscription fee to free Xbox live to connect to others. In some ways it’s a double taxation on our gaming happiness. Now I understand that Microsoft has to pay for the mass of servers and workers to keep them working right as well as new content such as the Experience dashboard. This is part of the cost. The other reason we pay is because of the added benefits we are privy to by being part of the Gold service. This is the major reason for the pay. It is why the other networks are free and why barely anyone uses them. We receive updates big and small, as well as a sort of guarantee to always having someone keep it going and running smoothly. In comparing it to the free services the other gaming systems provide, people make the argument that there shouldn’t be a charge for the same service Xbox charges for.

On the face of it, seeing how PSN is free and the Wii network as well it makes an easier argument for questioning the pay service that Xbox provides. But as the other side argues, and I tend to agree, the advantages and added bonuses we receive as members is something that one can justify paying the extra $2.50- $4 a month it ends up costing us. The other gaming services are horrid and weak as well as ill prepared to handle the girth of members that XBL does. Wii in particular has a terrible system to use. Its usage of 30 digit numbers and waiting to get a message back if at all days later just to see if your friend request went through is ridiculous. Not having a true multiplayer mode for the majority of the games has left designers not including the options in some games. The future of gaming is multiplayer, both coop and competitive. Even the PSN just came together recently to offer a competent service. Before that their game store, multiplayer set ups, and connections were light years behind XBL. With the improvement it brings more of an argument for a pay service for similar items presented but the matchmaking and servers, from what I have heard, are not up to snuff. And that is what we are paying for in the end aren’t we?

I owned the original Xbox and decided not to pay for free Xbox Live and use other services that were free such as Game Spy and XbConnect. I figured that I already pay for the internet to connect to other people, why should I pay again when I can get the same thing for free. While they served the purposes and even had some added benefits (hosting games allowing me to set game settings to my liking) there were more problems than a super corporate service had, I later found out. For one, there were little to no ability to moderate who joined the room based on connection lag, skill, or being a tool. Xbox Live has measures to take to protect against this. Lag was the biggest problem with these free personal services, since my home connection was basically the host server and it obviously was not meant for such bandwidth usage. Playing for a few years on these different outfits showed me I needed something more professional and capable for my gaming needs. When I finally got my 360 I decided to give the free month I received a chance and see if it was worth the price of admission. While there were some shortcomings as I will mention, the alternatives didn’t shine so bright after taking it for a test drive.

As I said, it is each person’s choice to decide if it’s worth it to pay or not. For me it is worth it. I live across the country from my brother and cousin, also hardcore gamers. We are not phone chatters or people who will go out of our way to catch up so it isn’t hard to fathom that we wouldn’t be speaking to often without something to bring us together. Playing COD or Halo or the music games together and talking smack is a way to keep connected that we otherwise wouldn’t do most likely. Now, in between games of World at War, my brother tells me whats been going on at home, or my cousin talks to me about what he’s been doing at school? It’s not as lame as it sounds because soon enough we are murdering Nazis or playing some Metallica. That’s a big plus in my book.

There are of course certain technical issues with XBL that can surely be enhanced. The servers aren’t as strong as they probably could be, and the mess of two Decembers ago showed shoddy customer care. The party system and the new Experience framework is kind of overcomplicated when trying to get to certain screens but generally it is a solid service that provides even more entertainment options now with Netflix and the multitudes of movies and TV shows available. Being able to connect it to the ones computer to stream movies and music, or an IPod is also an added bonus. In conclusion, there can certainly be opinions to the contrary, but Xbox Live is a service worthy of our hard earned dollar.

Well about Free Xbox Live. It offers the same service as the Playstation Network but for some reason feels more 'community' based than the PSN. I'm not sure why they are charging for a service that could very well be free, but whatever. It's up to the company to decide whether or not they what profits from something so simple as online gaming. Well to be honest I found your site while searching for 48 hour codes and I have to say that I'm impressed. It's a nicely organized blog with good intentions. The reason I want Free Xbox Live right now is because my 360 was broken with the E74 error for sometime now (about 3 months or so) and when I tried the towel trick months later it fixed itself and has been working for almost a week with no problems! :D Free Xbox Live offers some good community values as a system. With the actual intent of XBL being to connect the world of gamers together into one 'room', they are charging towards people becoming more tolerant and accepting
of everyone else. I've known people who play on Free Xbox Live solely because they are good at it and have no other reason to play it and I know others who play it because it's the only place they feel accepted. I personally just want to play it to get back into how things were and how just reconnect with long lost friends. The thing about Free Xbox Live is that it allows people to network and socialize while doing the thing they want to do. Have fun and play games. It's interface runs smoothly along with the game and the 360 console and allows for an awesome way to connect everything together. I mean, Free Xbox Live has it's flaws like when it went down last year for days and almost weeks due to extreme amounts of traffic around Christmas time, but still... It's much better than the Wii's online networking system. I mean, with the Wii you either have to be friend's with someone in real life to obtain their friend code. With Xbox Live you are free to decide who is
going to be on your friend's list and you aren't going to add. I guess in all free Xbox Live is superior over the Play Station Network and the Nintendo Wifi Connection because of it's 'get out and go' attitude towards dealing with other online gamers and friends. With the PlayStation Network, you can only invite people to your games if they too are on the game you are playing. Pretty weak in my opinion. The Nintedno Wifi Connection shouldn't even count as a valid medium to play online because since there is only a mic feature in one game (Animal Crossing Wii), it's just like you are playing with human controlled AI in games like Call of Duty: World at War and such. On the Xbox 360 on Xbox Live you are actually playing with real people and you know it, so that's awesome. I think that certain companies try to either copy other companies ideas and either fail or excel at them and make them better. Nintendo had Mii's and with the new Free Xbox Live downloaded
Dashboard theme, you can create your 'Mii' styled avatar. I like the Xbox version of the 'Mii' because it's more realistic and yet still basically customizable at the same time. I'm glad Xbox Live exists. I haven't been on in so long due to my Xbox 360 'breaking' that I'm not sure if I still have a full friend's list or if people deleted me off it. I'm really glad that there are people like you who are so giving that you would be able to share the wealth and the love and allow others to play on Xbox Live who cannot afford it themselves. :) This brings me hope that the world of anonymous gamers and interneters (lol) is a lot nicer than they seem. I'm really happy also that Xbox Live is up and running because it's also a way a stay connected with people from around the world talking about events that you may not have even heard of happening to them. It's pretty much a window into a realm of infinite possibilities tied into a fun environment of gaming that
takes you on yet another journey. Xbox Live is a great server and allows all users to fit into whatever environment they choose to. Whether it's casual gamers they want to be matched up with or the most hardcore game nut. The 'zone' option allows everything to customize who they want to play with which makes the server that much more enjoyable. I love Free Xbox Live. This is an awesome thing you are doing by the way. A while back I read that if you made your quote on free Xbox Live something about making it free it would happen. I'm not sure where this all started, but I remember seeing friend after friend and stranger after stranger (on the recent players list) donating their quote to the cause. Sadly though, I didn't turn out the way it was planned. So if you (or whoever deals with the free 1 months) could find it in the goodness of your heart to hook me up with a 1 month Gold code, I will be extremely happy and will spread the good news of your website. Thank
you again for your generous actions towards me and others and I hope free Xbox Live is free one day. Alright then I guess I'm going to be off and again I am really really thankful that you would give others the opportunity to play on such an amazing online service that is reserved for those who pay MicroSoft money for it. You guys are what make the world and Xbox Live that much more sweat. Well, I've taken up enough of your time forcing you to read my extremely long letter, but I wish you a good night and hope to possibly hear from you guys soon. Thanks again! Oh, one more thing. I heard free Xbox Live is going to start doing tournaments or something from this poster on a forum. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but if it is then that's another reason why free Xbox Live is the best online gaming network ever! Alright. Bye for real, lol.

Free Xbox live is a online multiplayer media made by the Microsoft Company. On Free Xbox live you can play against your friends or anyone else in the world. This is one of the great aspects of free Xbox live. You can play on a wide variety of games like Call of Duty: World at War, Battlefield: Bad Company, and most popular, Halo 3. In order to get free Xbox live a player must have an Xbox 360. Then make an online account. Each Xbox 360 comes with 3 free month trials. Unfortunately, I've already used all mines. But, in order to play free Xbox live you're going to have to pay. There are different time cards you can buy. A 1-month,3-month, and 12+1 Bonus Month. Obviously, the longer the time, the more you have to pay. Also, they’re are 2 Different Memberships for free Xbox live, the gold and the silver. The silver is free because you cannot play people online. But in the gold you can.

There is also another feature for free Xbox live. A games marketplace and video marketplace. On the game Marketplace you can download many thing related to your games. These include Maps, game add ons and gamer pictures. You can also download demos and Xbox original games. The demos are free, but the Xbox originals cost points, Microsoft points. Microsoft Points are the currency on free Xbox live. Again you have to pay to get them. They come in different values. The 1400,1600,2800,3200 and the 4000. The higher the points the more you have to pay. On the video marketplace, you can download movies, T-V shows, and other videos. You have to pay for movies and TV shows but game trailers are free. The average cost per movie is about 300 Microsoft Points. Which is not a lot.

I've just recently bought my Xbox this summer. I only have a couple of games. The games are: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Brothers In arms Hells Highway, NHL 08, NHL 09, NBA 09, NHL 2K9, MADDEN 09, Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Skate and Dark Sector. But there are thousands of games on the Xbox 360 console. and i can't buy all of them.

For the free Xbox live account you need to save it somewhere right? Well when it comes to saving there are many different units you can buy. You can buy small memory chips or hard drives. The hard drives cost more then a hundred dollars. The saving capacity ranges for 20 GB, 60 GB and 120 GB. And again the higher the capacity the more you have to pay. Also on free Xbox live, you can talk to others online with the Xbox 3602 headset. You can set how much volume you want and make it comfortable on your head.

In order to hook up your Xbox 360 to free Xbox live you need to have the following: an Ethernet cable/wireless network adapter, router/modem. All you have to do is connect the Ethernet cable into you router too hook up to Xbox live. You can also have a wireless connection. In order to do that you must first connect the wireless network adapter to the back of your console. Warning: you need to have a wireless router to connect. Then on the Xbox dashboard go to your console setting and hook up the router with the adapter so that they are connected.

Hooking up to free Xbox live is free. It only pays if you want to have a gold account. Like I said the gold account is the best possible membership you can go with. You will have the best gaming fun with it. I think that free Xbox live is a great thing because you are able to play with anyone in the world. You can play with your friend or your enemies. Even though games are like sixty dollars each, I think that it is worth it, you will spend hours playing and you will feel like never stopping. Of course you should take breaks in between playing to make sure you don’t hurt your eyes. I usually play about four to six hours a day with free Xbox live. But now that I do not have a gold membership I usually play three to four hours. That would mean that gold is the most fun membership ever.

For free Xbox live you have to pay for the online pay. But you do not have to pay for the Sony playstation three. But I think the only reason the ps3 has free online play is because the ps3 online play sucks! I mean I have played online on the ps3 and to no surprise the Xbox 360 had way better online play. I think its worth every penny to have an Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 is also competing with the Wii but I think the Wii doesn’t really have a chance against it. Even though the Wii might be funnier the graphics really stink

My favorite online game for the Xbox 360 has to be battlefield bad company. It has the most fun online team play ever. What there is two teams. One team has to destroy gold crates while the other team has to defend the gold crates. I spend hours a day playing online. I hardly finished level 1 in the story mode because the online play is that much better. It is the best online game ever. I personally think it’s even better than halo 3. But I might be wrong because I have never actually played it. Except for one time I rented it. But then I didn’t have Xbox live.

In conclusion Xbox live is one greatest things ever invented. And I have to thank Microsoft for giving us all this chance. I recommend that everyone go buy an Xbox right now and start playing. For I will never stop playing until the day I die. Right know I currently don’t have free Xbox live gold and I am trying to find the cheapest way possible to get it.

What do I think of Free Xbox Live, you may ask? Well Free Xbox live is a great invention to who ever thought of it. It’s not just fun where you logged on and play games but it’s also fun when you just watch a movie on it. I kind of feel sorry for the people that don’t have Free Xbox live access due to no internet connection or just plain old don’t want to pay five dollars a month for a year of Free Xbox live. I regret that I just started Free Xbox Live when I should have started a long time ago.

Some popular games that are played on the Free Xbox live today are Halo 3, Gears of Wars 2, The Call of Duty Series, and probably about any other games in the world for the Xbox 360. If people only have like a guitar and they wanted to get the achievements that required a band than they could sign on to Free Xbox live and search for others that have a drum, this work for games like Guitar Hero: World Tour or Rock Band. To me though I think the best game to play on Free Xbox Live is Halo 3, it just depends on you.

Theirs has been a lot of competition over Halo 3, Call of Duty, and Gears of Wars. Based on my experience though I believe Halo is the top because it’s just right in between these two games. What I mean by this is Call of Duty is too realistic, you die in like about one shot basically, and in Gears of Wars, it’s really hard with no reticule aim so it’s kind of hard, but Halo though it’s just right in between, not too hard and not to easy, but it’s just based on the person. Maybe it’s fun for me because I spend more time on Halo than those two games.

There is a new thing on Free Xbox Live called the “New Xbox Experience” or NXE. It’s basically a new dashboard and I think it looks pretty neat because it also fixed many of the problems on the Xbox like the unreadable disc error where the disc won’t read so than now the disc is save on the Xbox so the disc won’t have to be spinning so much, instead it just reads off the hard drive and yeah that’s another great invention.

Holiday season is coming and the Xbox 360 has some competition especially with the Wiki and the Play station 3. Its main competition is the play station 3 though, the play station 3 is also a great machine but the thing it lacks is good games. The machine overall power is fairly greater than the Xbox 360 but the Xbox 360 has lots of better games and the online play and way better and the point of buying a game system is basically playing games. The wii is more for kids because it’s like a family game system; games such as the wii fit or the wii cart are fun but not challenging enough.

Games that I own on the Xbox 360 are all great titles, such as Halo 3, Fable 2, Gears of Wars, Guitar Hero 3, Skate, and Grand Theft Auto 4. All these games are Xbox livable. Free Xbox live expands the game to infinity because you can keep on playing and playing and it never gets boring like I been playing Halo 3 for almost every day for the past year since it came out on September 25, 2007. I am still not even bored or tired of it because on free Xbox live you always know someone is better than you meaning you want to be the best and so you keep on playing and playing hoping one day to achieve that goal. It’s also a place to meet new people like I met this kid in my school, funny right. We end up being great friends, so you see free Xbox live is like one of my greatest hobby in life, helping me socially. Some people might say to me get a life or something but yeah I do have one. I do go out with friends and stuff but when it’s raining, bored summer day, or just a regular weekend, I just click turn the Xbox on and play. Some times when it’s not my day, where I’m totally garbage online, I might get a little mad but it’s still pretty fun.

Well time to wrap up this essay on my thoughts of free Xbox Live. Overall though free Xbox live is one of the best thing in world, well to do when your freaking bored at home. It actually got me a reputation in school and my community for my Halo 3 skills. I also brought friends in to this game too. Bringing us closer to each other, and when your at a Halo 3 tournament and you win something great you just feel so happy and guess what help you to train, Xbox Lives’ community and your friends. Theirs only one thing left to say though and that is “MAKE XBOX LIVE FREE.” Thanks for Reading

XBox Live

Free Xbox live should be free as it is a lot of cash for one person to pay out is 39.99 for 12 months, not only that we have to pay for xbox live market place to I love the Xbox 360 as it is a well managed network of people and you get to meet loads of interesting people.
On the other hand you get some right pricks on there as well.
Xbox should police it better in the way of adults showing off their private bits to little children in open servers they should just get banned!
Gaming on Free Xbox Live
Call of Duty
I have played all of the call of duty games and by far number 5 world at war is the best because it tell’s the untold story of starling grad and about the war in the pacific Live on this game. Not only that it is just out of this world the way that both the American and Russian campaigns feel so much faster and punchier than call of duty 4 which gives the game much more of a need and want to play on line and off.
Fifa 09
By far the best football game to hit the XBox 360
In fifa 09 you can use this new added Adidas Live Season a subscription based service that updates the stats of each player in a league depending on their real life performance every week which is a very good idea. It knocks spots off PES 09. Not only that when it comes to the updated be a pro season there is an extreme improvement as well as the manager mode, which still keep the original feel to the game. Much better and well thought out, really liking the new added features.
Xbox 360 Console
The Xbox 360 has taken on a bad name in the eyes of the media as a system that constantly overheats they claim to be poorly manufactured, and as a result to be too unstable to be on sale world wide. The problems with this is people don’t let there console breath so there for gets to hot thats when the dreaded flashing lights illuminate on the games console.
I know this because it has happened to me 2 time as well as a 3 disk drive faults and Xbox witch was a phone call away was there to help and nurse my console back to full health again 10/10 for xbox
The call centers at Xbox HQ
No matter when you call they are there to help like batman in Gotham city, they take notes and try to trouble shoot first be for taking your Xbox in to the Xbox 360 hospital first rate services. They are all English speaking people to witch helps in a big way
Xbox V PS3
People that own a Xbox 360 have one of the best console this side of the planet but with all the problems with the 360 have people seconded guessing the consoles credibility but as a PS3 owner you get live play for free but the server jam up most of the time and the blue ray goes funny sum times to so on the hole Xbox have sorted out the problems and fixed them to make the Xbox a very power full console witch will walk all over the PS3.
Xbox Live things
Live chat lets you chat to your online mates witch is good
Video chat lets you and a mate chat and see each other
Message lets u send messages to your on line buddies
You can also send feedback about other gamers on the 360 so u can say u like that player or avoid them as well filing a complaint about that person
Your gamer tag is what people see you as on the Xbox live gaming servers and now with this new update you create a avatar witch people can see just like the wii but ten times better and TVersity is a new thing you down load to your pc and you can stream films from your pc straight to you Xbox 360 with out using windows media centre
On the Xbox 360 you have two types of subscriptions they are silver and gold

Silver gives you the ability to create your very own profile i.e. gamer tag send and receive messages and download sum content from the market place.
Gold level lets you do all that silver dose plus you can GAME ON XBOX LIVE the best feature of this level

Xbox live is basically a way you can chat to your mates and play them on games , some good games are, halo3, Fifa, 08 , fifa 09, assassins creed, there are lots to choose from.

A lot of people, like me, ill admit, get their xbox live codes from free offers where you fill things in to get the codes. there are a lot of different memberships you could have, there is a silver where you can add friends and chat to them share photo's and stuff, but you cant play games with them, then there is the gold 48 hour trials which you can play online on some games but with halo 3 you can only play social.

I used to get them from these sites where you get free codes for filling in surveys but I got a lot of bad phone calls because I gave out my number and my dad kept getting angry. So what I have done is I bought a forty pounds gold member ship for one year and it is in my eyes the best deal that you could get with credit card, because 5 pound a month is a pain when you need to keep on playing a fiver just to keep it going, you could also pay fifteen pounds to get it for 3 months but I prefer forty pounds per year. I have an elite console, this is black with ALOT of memory, it has got 120 GB which is mainly for storing video and music and pictures on, which you can upload from your computer, it goes onto the window media centre which is on your xbox 360 console somewhere. You also get a cable which lets you play games and things in HDTV but you also need a HDTV tv.

I think the best game of all time is probably fifa 08 because it was the first game I got and ive got a few achievements to go before I complete all of them, but the best makers i think are the halo makers I think its Bungie or something, they make great games

The other consoles you can get are an arcade which is rubbish in my opinion, it only has a small memory, if it has memory at all because I’m not too sure, the other is a premium which has 20 memory I think this is the most common one which people buy the most because it's cheaper than the elite and has enough memory to hold a few games. You can buy memory things to put on the top of your xbox but they cost about sixty pounds for twenty g - bites. you can also get a free head set with the actual console when you first buy it, but mine has sadly broken and I had to buy s new one but it doesn’t cost much so i wouldn’t worry about it braking to much, this head set is used for communicating to your best friends on microphone so your can arrange parties to join and to just talk about any random thing that comes in to your head.

What I like about the xbox 360 is that you get achievements for completing goals on games you get and you get points for it, these points make up your gamer score and when I first got my xbox 360 console I was addicted to battling against my mates to get the highest gamer score and the best thing of all is that you don’t need to be connected to xbox live at all the get the points.

There has been a new lay out made at the start up part now and you can create your own avatar and you can set it as your own face and make it look like you. You can choose all its clothes and you can have it as your gamer picture. Your gamer picture is a picture that shows up on your profile and it shows everybody that’s it’s your picture.

there are different controllers that you can get, I have a black one and a white one, one is wired and the other is wireless, I think there are different colors you could get I have only seen blue pink black and white and I have only seen madcats controllers and the original Microsoft controllers

there is a game called guitar hero 3 which I have recently bought and it has its own controller which is a guitar which you also use to play the game. the game is actually really good but the songs get a tiny bit boring. hopefully i can download some onto the game if i find out how you can do it.

I think the new avatar system has copied the Nintendo Wii a little, but to be honest, it rocks much better than the Wii avatar system thingy, I’m looking forward to the new x festival that started today, I don't know what it actually is, but ive heard you play games and talk to famous celebs for free on it! Hopefully this isn’t a scam like the one i heard about going outside on Nazi zombies one cod5 the second best game made.

The Xbox 360 is a console that is great for families especially when they have free xbox live codes 2010, a console that passionate gamers crave for when they can't afford it. Even though the online gameplay for the Xbox 360 is not free it is still one of the best systems to play online. The 360 brought a new era of gaming, a system that is constantly getting updates, whether for the dashboard (main screen for those of you who do not have one yet) or for the games you have. Xbox Live, as said earlier, is unlike other systems because of the fee to play online. Even with this fee, there is millions of people playing online games nearly all times of the day. On one game (halo 3) there were three hundred and seventy eight THOUSAND people online in its downtime (also known as the games population downtime). Microsoft may make people pay, but they also have computers and such to make up for only having 2 systems. Making people pay for online gameplay proves that Microsoft is greedy, however, they are the leaders in the new gaming era. Just recently, the Xbox 360 Dashboard was updated and also gave users new features like being able to download a game disc onto your console and having a fully customizable avatar (clothes, hair, skincolor, shoes, height, weight, etc.) which is basically a better version of the Wii's "Mii" system, of which the face is just about the only thing you can customize. Xbox Live not only brings in players, but allows you to talk to and meet players from around the world and, if you don’t like talking to complete strangers whom you may never meet face to face, you can just stick to your friends. Most new systems, like the Xbox 360, have a friends list, but i believe that the Xbox 360 is the only one to have a party function (you can talk to people in any game and you do NOT have to be in the same game (you could be in ctf and another person in slayer [halo3 example])) If this is untrue, then Bungie and Microsoft are a bit behind other systems. Microsoft may make you pay for just about all their services for the Xbox consoles, but they are still a great way to get into gaming and to continue being the passionate gamer that you are at heart. Well, to prove how great Bungie and Microsoft is, at times, I will tell you a short 'story'. I was playing halo3 when I got a message from someone named 'Bungie'. When I opened it I had received a short message about how I was considered to be a great player by the community and were considering giving me the recon armor. They said if I could keep it up for maybe 2-3 more months I would get it. However, one day, I was playing in a Team sniper match and there was someone with an aimbot and a Bungie employee was about to have his account banned when I came back from the kitchen, and my party had, unknowingly to me, started the game. I proceeded to play as any person would and, since I am a sniping king, I was getting headshots left and right. Well, the Bungie Employee thought I was another person using an aimbot. After I hit 24 straight headshots, he had reported me to those who ban people and sent me a voice message saying that my account will be banned for 4 months. I was pissed off, so I went to bungie.net and found an employee to talk to. After a slightly heated conversation, he decided to use a program to detect 3rd party programs and he took me into a team snipers match with it on. After the game was over, me with 29 headshots and 2 regular kills and 3 deaths, he told me what I already knew. I just have really good aim and I was NOT using an aimbot. since he had the authority to ban/unban, I was unbanned and also given 3 months of free xbl, when I was banned for only 1 months time, and also 4000 Microsoft points. This proves that Microsoft and Bungie employees are not just greedy people. They are human beings who are sometimes mistaken. Bungie and Microsoft have this system nearing perfection more and more every other day. I believe that a gaming system can never be perfect, however I also believe that they can become pretty dang close to perfection.

XBOX live is so awesome. You can get the silver membership which is free which has a lot to offer in itself. With the silver membership you can buy games that get downloaded right to your xbox. So that right there is great because you don’t have to drive to the store and search, it is already right there for you. Then there are the videos on xbox live that you can download. Movies that aren’t that expensive at all and TV shows are also available on xbox live. So if you miss your favorite tv show on Monday you can just buy it and watch it. I think that it is very convenient. Now there is a great Netflix feature as well. You can instantly stream movies to your xbox as long as you are a netflix member and have an xbox live gold membership. And of course you can buy the background and the display pictures for you xbox. Its always awesome to customize your console that way you want it. And if you like the music you might as well just download the music video. Seriously, how great is that?!? Not only can you listen to your favorite song but you can watch the music video and see what the artist really is trying to communicate through their song. Okay so lets say you really think that this one game looks totally awesome and you think that you want to buy it. But you just recently did that with a different game and you really didn’t like it after you bought it and you don’t want this one to be the same way. Well with the xbox live silver you can download the demos to the games! So you can try it before you buy it. Can it get any better than that? Yes it can…You can get the Gold membership and play online with your friends. For example, let’s say Halo, which is one the greatest games I’ve ever played! You can log onto xbox live and match up against other players and play against them. You can do things like that with most xbox games as long as you have the gold membership.
You can create your own avatar with the silver membership too. It is fantastic fun. I created an avatar and had a lot of fun tweaking her just the way I wanted. You can do things like change the nose shape and the eyebrow shape. It is really neat.
With xbox live silver, you still get to have a friends list. That’s always fun because you can add your best friend and you can be playing Pacman and she can be playing Uno and you can be chatting back and forth in a private chat, or you could be sending messages to you contacts on your messenger list. I would suggest the talking chat because it can be a bit of a pain in the butt to type on the screen unless you have one of those nifty little keyboards that attach to your controller. I think that would be a lot easier. Your friends can also see the achievements that you have gotten for your games that you play and compare your gamerscore to theirs. Hopefully yours is higher, more bragging rights.
There is also a new feature that you can enjoy with a gold membership. You can throw a virtual party right on your xbox 360 console. Think about it not messy clean up and no broken glass you can do it all on your xbox. Weird right? I haven’t tried it yet but I want to, I just haven’t had the time. But doesn’t that sound fun?
By the way, it is really not that expensive for the gold membership to xbox live. You can get a 12 month membership for $50. That less than five dollars a month. By paying for it you know that they are going to make sure that it is maintained well and not as many glitches and there would be with playstation because playstation is free where as with the xbox you have to pay. If you don’t want to pay for xbox live, you can also get free memberships by using
Points2Shop.
Another super awesome thing with xbox live is their events. They will tell you went, let say, a celebrity is going to be playing on live, and you can play with them. It is called Game with Fame. There are also tournaments that you can enter to with fantastic prizes. There is one going on right now for Feeding Frenzy that you can win a trip to Hawaii. You can play against computer players like on their pc, see if the xbox will overpower the pc or if the pc will be overcome the xbox.
There are so many things to do with xbox live. I grew up with playstation and now I absolutely love the Xbox and I will never go back to playstation again!

Free Xbox live Weekend
There was a free xbox live weekend several weeks ago and I posted it here 5 days before it started. Remember to check back often so you don't miss free XBL weekends and other promotions.

Xbox Live is great.
I love the service and the most i have at the moment is a silver account. Everything to do with the games, the online experience, the community the downloadable content all feels so seamless.
I have not been able to sign up for a Gold account as my credit card seems to have to be linked to a US address and I currently reside in St. Lucia WI. I am desperate to try the gold service as the experience can only get better. I salivate at the idea of jumping into a community of persons who all enjoy my favorite game and testing my mettle on an international scale. Being ranked amongst my comrades in games like FIFA 09, my personal favorite, Fight Night Round 3, Halo 3 and so much more. Its a shame that Microsoft has not made the live service more accessible to the international community as the Xbox love seems to spread a lot farther and wider than they realize.
The Caribbean is laden with Xbox gamers and I'm sure many other countries not listed in the Xbox live community are as well. I would love to see some outreach or at least some more inclusion in the marketing as well as availability, or ease thereof, of the Xbox live Gold Service. At the moment my only option in upgrading to a Gold account, as all other suggestions as described by the www.Xbox.com website have failed, is to order a subscription card from overseas. The cards are not sold in my country and most websites that sell them do not deliver to the West Indies. It has required my setting up of an offshore Mailbox located in Miami to ship the item to and then have it shipped down here by a separate carrier before I am able to receive the item. Of course the quality of service offered by Xbox live is more than worth the effort but it would be nice to feel a bit more like a welcome member of the community.
I am still in the process of setting up my mailbox which will hopefully be accessible in a few weeks. I can hardly wait. Understanding that the Caribbean is a small economy and an even smaller part of the international market, our hearts beat as strongly as those of any gamer in the hugest metropolis. I believe it is gamers like us that add to the cultural diversity of any international community. If Xbox Live is to become the Global phenomenon I am certain it can and should be, the rich culture of Caribbean based gamers and the unique flavor we can add to any gaming session is an undeniable asset. Trust me if you have not played a FIFA 09 session against a hotheaded Trinidadian who scores a screamer with Kenwyn Jones, or a Jamaican who heads home a match winner with Ricardo Fuller you have not lived online. The out-the-box voice chat capability of Xbox live makes this possible, however the limited scope of the Xbox subscription service keeps these experiences from being accessible to everyone.
I have mention that we are prepared to jump through hoops for the love of the game and Xbox live, but it would be pleasant not to. I keep my fingers crossed that Microsoft will hear the cries of Caribbean gamers and give this thriving as well as growing community the acknowledgement it deserves, if not for our size, at the very least for our passion.
Rather than dwell on the things that we don't have, let me just reiterate that the Xbox live silver service is a great one. It integrates perfectly with the windows live service. bridging the gap between my PC and my Xbox. The downloadable content is my most used feature. I can surf the website on my laptop and queue up downloads through the live service. As soon as I power on my Xbox the download continues there. I am able to access a world of free downloads like game demos and video previews and so much more. The gamer community thrives even on the silver account level. Gamers are singled out and showcased for the rest of the community so the networking aspect is heavily subsidized by this feature.
Access to Netflix service and paid movie downloads through the currency of the day; Microsoft points are available. Also a 300 strong and growing list of Xbox original games is available for download straight to a hard drive for some quasi-retro gaming. The spectacle of Halo 3 on the 360 is enhanced immensely by being able to see and play the game that started it all without even opening your disc-tray. Grand Theft Auto 4 can be enjoyed with the comparative bonus of being able to have a look back on what GTA San Andres was like. This service sounds so spectacular already and we have not even factored in the advent of the Xbox Live Arcade service(XBLA).
XBLA is a Godsend not only for retro gamers but for developers alike. A showcase of a comprehensive range of classics either faithfully recounted or with a new age twist. Also the opportunity for budding game developers to have independent or low budget ideas to come to life on a platform that encourages innovation and the most fundamental aspects of game play. In this sense Xbox live can be seen as performing a public service, in essence creating a museum not only for the art of old but also an exhibition for new and unbounded art. Magic seems to happen every time I play braid or when I fire up the old street fighter 2 turbo on a brand spanking new console.
In essence the live service is in every aspect worth the price of admission. A spectacular service through and through that I would be happy to pay for if only Microsoft would let me. The unpaid service has also been a ray of sunshine in my otherwise subdued gaming life. Xbox live has opened up so many new possibilities and crushed the boundaries of what a gaming experience can an should be.
Keep up the good work Microsoft.

Xbox live is the best thing to happen in gaming history. It brings loads of great gamers together to have a great gaming experience. I love playing great multiplayer games with my friends, it is so much more fun than playing all by yourself. I think the way that they update the software frequently is good too. In my opinion the money it costs for the gold membership is nothing compare to the hours of good quality fun you have. The games i like to play most are call of duty - modern warfare, call of duty - world at war, fifa 09, pro evolution soccer 2009 and battle field bad company. All of those are great multiplayer games. No other console offers what xbox has to offer. The playstation 3 just does not even compare. Wow it has an internet browser but if you have the internet to go on xbox live, surely you would have a pc or laptop to go on the internet so it is pointless. Any way i am extremely pleased to see that someone is giving away a months gold membership for free. It is the best gift you could ever imagine. I have spoke to so many people on xbox live and met lots of new friends from all over the globe it is great how you can speak to and play with people from the usa. That is so far away it is so weird to think about it. I couldn't imagine my life with out my xbox and my xbox live gold account it probably would not be worth living. My friend tried to tell me once that the Nintendo wii is a better console than the xbox 360. I could not believe what a insult he said. I can not wait for the xbox 720 to be released. The xbox 360 is the ultimate gaming console at the moment to top it, it will have to some thing of greatness. Every time i think about the xbox 720 it sends shivers down my spine because it has got to made by god himself to top the xbox 360 console. I am sorry this email is probably not making much sense but i am not to good with spelling or writing so sorry for that. The way the dash board and everything on it is set up is unreal. The dash board is so easy to control and you can do so much on it. It is so cool how you can download you own cd's on to the hard drive. Me personally i have my whole cd collection on there it is great not having to get up and put a cd in when you are playing or even skip a track, you just jump straight to your dashboard and there you go it is done. When i had a playstation 2 I had to buy the playstaion magazine every month for £4.99 to get a disk to play the demos and you can download them straight from xbox live. I mean you do not even need a gold membership for that you can do that on a free silver membership, now that is great. The money i was spending each month for a measly magazine that i did not read i just got for the game demo disks, i can play on xbox live for a full month, which is easily one million times better than a measly magazine. I play my xbox and chat to my friends as well on the windows live messenger so i do not have to miss out on the chat sessions I have with a lot of my friends. I have only had my xbox for bout six months and I am gutted for the time I have missed out on playing the great games that it has to offer. I just can not believe how games consoles have progressed over the years. I mean my first ever console was a Nintendo entertainment system and that was so great back then it is crazy to think how it ever comes to this. I used to think the graphics to Mario was great looking back at them now, my little sister can draw better pictures than that and she is only five. I have the xbox elite console set up with a sony bravia hd ready tv and the graphics quality is like watching or playing a film or something your self. It is really like real life it is amazing. Xbox is the future of gaming the gaming revolution. It is the best thing to happen since England winning the world cup in 1966. It really is that good. I just love the way you can buy new fascia for it as well I have about ten different fascias for mine so depending on what mood i am in my xbox will look and suit me. I know that sounds really sad but i think it is really good. I am always on the look out for new things for my Xbox. The last thing i brought was the windows live messenger kit, just simply for the reason I broke my headset and the messaging is so much easier and quicker with piece of equipment. I thought was a great buy. The one downfall to them when you buy your xbox console is you do not get a plug and play kit. You do not realize how much you need one. You only need one because it so much good fun you can not stop playing it., and it is really annoying when you are playing a game and your batteries run out. It happened to me when i first got mine and it took me about half an hour to find some decent batteries. That lost time in my book that i will never get back. Any way it has been great telling you how cool my xbox is, but I am going to have to go because I am missing out on valuable Xbox time.

Xbox Live, the Devil, and You
Long gone are the days where friends had to be seated in front of the same television monitor, on a single console, controller in hand, in order to engage in video game battle. If you wanted to play Perfect Dark or Madden with a friend, several conditions had to be just right. First of all, your friend had to have a way of getting to your home. Second, and possibly most important, his parents had to let him or her out of the house. Third, you had to have completed all of your homework and studied for any tests you might have.

While some of those don't apply as we get older, one thing remains significantly changed; to challenge our friends in a rousing video game experience, we don't have to be at the same console or even in the same house. Furthermore, we don't even have to reside in the same country! Online gaming has changed the way kids, adults, and gamers alike can enjoy gaming with or against one another in this significantly advanced gaming world we live in.

PC games such as Counter-Strike and Starcraft aside, Sega's Dreamcast console was the first video game console to allow users to play against others online. While it didn't last and was not overly popular, the Dreamcast paved the way for such innovations as the Playstation Network, Nintendo's Online System, and the ever popular Xbox Live.

As an adult, I no longer need my mother's permission to play video games with a friend (now I only seek my wife's approval!) Through the Xbox Live system, I have the ability to challenge any friend, foe, stranger or other adversary in any game I possess. I originally remember envisioning such a system while playing Goldeneye 007 on the N64. It was a snow day; no school for the entirety of the day. After school sports were cancelled, homework for the following day was already complete, but tragically with nothing on TV but The Price Is Right and Ricki Lake, it didn't leave much for a 13 year old to do. I called up a friend and asked if he wanted to come over and play some Goldeneye, as we were prone to doing on a frequent basis. Sadly, the roads were covered, the weather was awful, and his mother forbid him from riding his bike or even walking the mile and a half to my home. Needless to say, my mother insisted that I remain inside as well. If only there was a way that we could play video games together while separated. Sounds a little dramatic but what an idea it was. At this time, it was merely a fantasy, wishing for some way that I could enjoy my favorite titles with friends who were unable to join me, share a console and a one pound bag of twizzlers, and play until the snow melted away and school could again be in session.

Such a snow day will never occur for my children. As long as they've got an Xbox and an internet connection, the world is their playground. Sure, there is something lost in terms of the face-to-face interaction between friends but is certainly made up for by the sizable boom in technology. Through Xbox Live, friends can stay connected like never before. Now challenging a buddy to a game of NCAA Football or Quake 3 is as easy as sending a message and a gaming request. Not only that, but multiple friends can interact and chat as if they were in the same room.

Xbox Live has provided an even greater service to me as I've aged. Having gone to college nearly 9 hours from where I currently reside, most of my immediate friends do not live close by. As any stereotypical man will tell you, talking on the phone is an art form reserved for the fairer sex. If I called most of my friends up "just to gab" they'd laugh me off the phone and screen every call thereafter. However, with the addition of Xbox Live, I can keep in touch with friends so much more closely than I could before. Catching up with a friend I haven't seen in months is as easy as playing a game of Team Doubles in Halo 3. Through the luxuries provided by Xbox Live, I have been able to maintain many more friendships than I could have otherwise. While some may tell you that taking the live face-to-face interaction out of gaming is harmful, as an adult gamer, I couldn't imagine gaming without it. While my wife would certainly prefer that I spend my evenings after work watching American Idol with her or talking about what color we should paint the dining room, I wish for nothing more than firing up my Xbox 360, text messaging my buddies, and jumping online for an evening of gaming with my buddies.

Such a technological marvel does not come with at least a few caveats. Xbox Live has its flaws, unfortunately. Aside from the newly added avatars, created for the sole purpose of competing against the kid-friendly Nintendo Wii, Xbox Live is a breeding ground for profanity-filled, trash-talking individuals who take no greater pleasure than in expressing their useless and ignorant views on the masses. In public games such as Halo 3, this can become quite distracting. Luckily there are options to silence such abusive users. However, and more importantly, the staff of Xbox Live do a great job patrolling, following up on complaints, banning and removing those individuals whose intent is to tarnish the Xbox Live experience for others.

I have been using Xbox Live religiously since graduating college in May of 2006 and at this point, could not imagine gaming without the online experience. While I do not own a PS3 and I do not utilize the online functions of the Wii, I cannot honestly compare Xbox Live to their levels of service. That being said, I am completely satisfied with the level of service provided by Xbox Live. Do I wish it were free? In a way, only that it would allow for more of my friends to "make the jump" and join the online community. However, trying to keep users to a single gamertag is a great way of ensuring that when matching up skill levels, you are playing against players of equal skill and not a 5 Star General with a new gamertag, destroying all of the new players.

While I often miss the nostalgia and classic feel of an old console style of play, I couldn't imagine next generation gaming without the online experience. At the top of its class, Xbox Live provides a way for friendships to remain, new friendships to be formed, skill levels to be matched, and the lifespan of games to be significantly prolonged as online play provides constantly evolving challenges and adversaries as we experience the full capabilities of next generation gaming.

xbox live is cool, it is something i cannot live without. i meet my friends on xbox live and we play games togather. the games we play most are Halo 3, Crackdown, and forza motorsport 2. i try to rank up in halo 3 as much as possible and i have a clan that helps people with anything in halo 3. i even have a youtube video about my clan. my clan is called the extress clan. i need an xbox live code because i registered my account that didnt have anything on it for xbox live and i need to get the other account registed so i can get my cars on forza 2 transfered for free and its not free if i have to pay for xbox live. i really dont feel like typing this right now so i will keep typing about things that knowone cares about. i have some ideas for xbox live i think they need another update that tells people not only when there friends are online but when they get offline. they should also fix the party glitch so you dont randomly get kicked from an xbox live party. they should also add more features for the new avatars. i really think that they should have made the xbox able to save gamesaves to external hard drives or make an update so you can do that because i only have a 12 gb harddrive and i have to get a new on because of how much i use it. xbox live should have mad the dashboard completely cosomizable unstead of only themes and colors, they should have let you coustomize the way your dashboard is organized. other than the things i just stated xbox live is a really good thing. i had to send my xbox in to get fixed and they said it was going to take about a month and it only took a couple of weeks and i was so exited to get my xbox back, it was like a christmas present but a million times better. for chirstmas i actually got an xbox 360 racing wheel and it is awsome it has force feedback so when i turn it turns against me. also when i hit a wall and let go of the racing whell it turns itself away from the wall and gets me back on track so it pretty much steers itself and that is so cool. i am still thinking of words to put in this and i thnk i have 428 words now. i also was placed in temporary foster care and i get to go back with my dad on the 23. i am going on a campout this weekend and its going to be long but fun. it would be way more fun if i had my xbox on the camping trip. then i could play halo and forza and crackdown. hey i just thought of a great nea idea for xbox. its a portable xbox 360 with wifi so you can connect to live that would be awsome. i wonder what the most played game on xbox live is. personaly since i am a halo player i think its halo 3 for sure but i might be wrong it could be left for dead or gears 2 but i dont think ill ever know. i am planning on getting the 2 new halo games that come out this year they are halo wars and halo 3 odst. if i preorder the halo wars limited addition i get the mythicmaps for free and that will be so cool to be one of the first people to get the new halo 3 maps. i am going to check how many friends i have online and check my xbl messages right now ok so ill be typing again i a min. ok im back and typing again and somone told me to get a life how pathetic they are comlpete losers theyr the on that needs to get a life i have a life my life is trying to get more xbox live and thats why im typing 1000 words and this takes along time if your a slow typer but im ont a slow typer im a fast typer unlinke some people they just cant type at all and i am just so cool and awsome like that i really need more xbox live so i can continue to be super cool and awsome. i just keep on typing. xbox live has so many cool features like the market place and with the new xbox experence i can do so much more. i kinda want the recon armor so i can gloat about it but other than that its cool if i dont get it because theyre relesing it this year so as soon as they do that recon armor is not special anymore. flames might still be special if they dont relese it. i have a small tv and its kinda hard to see when i play halo and i am just like that i want an hd tv that will be biger than my house. have you seen that show its called house he is a pretty good doctor but hes a big ass to people and its not cool he saves alot of peoples lives and then people hat him for it. they should make a virtual room thor the xbox 360 then you can play and acctualy see wahts going on in 3d!!!! how cool would that be i think im getting to the end of this letter now and i am having a hard time thikning of what else i could type i think i could type about how i have 5 controllers for my xbox but it only takes four i think its normal but evryone els thinks im crazy!!!. but im not crazy i dont think but someont sayd i should go to the doctor because my brain is messed up i dont think thats true. thanks for listening to me ramble on and on about xbox live. bye thank you how long until i get my 1 month code now that iv typed 100 words+.

Xbox live is great. It's awesome to play a game online with a friend, or even with a person half-way across the world. It brings great interaction with gamers around the world that Microsoft has done really well. In a way, it's like a social networking site, like Facebook or Myspace, rolled into a gaming system. It brings gamers closer together, which ultimately makes the experience so much better.

Xbox live isn't just playing a game with other gamers. It's pretty much a utility that makes your Xbox 360 an entertainment system. With the ability to download movies, videos, tv shows and game demos, you can take your 360 out of the box, connect to Xbox live and start having fun in a few minutes. You can also burn music to a CD and insert it into your 360 and rip it onto your hard drive, so you can listen to music while you're gaming. With these things added to it, the 360 isn't a gaming system anymore, it's stepped up to a whole new level and turned into a revolutionary entertainment sytem that people will be jealous of.

Another great feature is the text and voice communication. Want to play a game of Halo 3 with your bud? Just send him a message through Xbox live and wait until he accepts your invite, and you'll be playing Halo 3 with him. And there's more. Want to laugh at him committing suicide? Connect your headset and you can laugh right into his ear and he'll hear it with the voice communication feature of Xbox live. The communication factor is probably the most special thing that makes Xbox live so enjoyable. It's like talking on the phone with your friend while gaming, but without you having to tilt your head to hold the phone on your shoulder. It's also another great thing for strategization within games. You don't have to be frustrated anymore because your teammates aren't going to the right places. Just tell them over the headset and they'll know what to do.

With an Xbox live account, you get your own gamercard. What this means is that other gamers can see what games you've played, your gamerscore (which is increased by unlocking achievements in games), your reputation and other interesting things. You can have your own personal touches by creating your avatar, which by the way, the avatar feature only being implemented a couple of months ago. I personally think that this feature was added to attract younger gamers, since the Wii also has the avatar feature. So ultimately, with an Xbox live account, you can build your account and be the ultimate gamer! People will start admiring your high gamerscore and all the best games you've played.

Xbox live is pretty much a download center. One of the things you can download are game demos, which I love. If you weren't too sure whether or not to buy a game, just download the game demo and see if you enjoy the gameplay or not. You can also download game trailers to check out some great videos of upcoming video games. Probably the best thing you can download on Xbox live are the game add-ons. These add-ons can vary from map packs for shooting games, cars for racing games and songs for musical games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Xbox live also configures with some sports games, like NBA 2K9, to update team rosters. So if a trade happened in the real world, it would happen in the video game also, which is such an extremely bright idea. These game add-ons being downloaded can make your game even better after you bought it! Another thing you can download are movies. Too tired to go out and drive to the theatres? Grab some friends, sit on the couch, and buy a movie for only a cheap price. Same goes for t.v. shows. If you can't catch the latest episode of your favourite tv show, go onto Xbox live the next day and you can buy it.

Xbox live is a huge component of the Xbox 360 gaming experience. Without, I wouldn't be surprised if everybody hated the 360. There'd be no communication with other gamers, no downloading, no updates and therefore this would mean no enjoyment during gaming. The Xbox live community is filled with a variety of people. This is the thing that slightly bothers me. You have no idea who you're talking to. You could be talking to a 7 year old, who's disguising his voice to be a 30 year old or a 50 year old who's disguising his voice to be a 15 year old. The age of people on Xbox live kind of bothers me also. Theres always that 8 year old kid who keeps on whining and swearing at anybody in Halo 3 which annoys everybody in the game. I just wish that there were more people who would care about what their kids are doing on Xbox live and put familiy controls on their Xbox live account.

Now, the price is always an issue with Xbox live. There's a percentage of the people with 360's who probably have enough money to keep on buying Xbox Live subscriptions or people who just don't mind using money on gaming. Then there's another percentage of people, most likely a huge percentage, who hate how expensive Xbox Live is and don't want to pay a cent or who just don't want to pay too much on gaming. I'm one of those people. Personally, I don't mind too much that you have to pay money to go online, but $60 a year ($5 a month if you like monthly numbers) is just a bit too much for me. I wouldn't mind something like $25-$30 a year. Yes I know, I'm cheap, but the Playstation Network and Wii Online are free. It just bothers me a bit knowing this, when I'm paying for Xbox Live subscriptions.

Overall, Xbox Live is definitely the best online gaming network. With so many options, gamers will be immersed into Xbox live and will likely get addicted.

THE BEST XBOX 360 CONSOLE

Well DESIGN?
When Xbox arrived at the current market were many voices that criticized the manner of this and even controls, something that Microsoft has taken careful account what has already devoted considerable interest and attention.
Jonathan Hayes has been the person who has been involved in its design, with the collaboration of the Japanese agency Hers Experimental Design Laboratory and the agency Astro. But even more, since it is possible to customize our console with different covers for the front.
How is Xbox 360?
Externally on the console us, if we described it in an upright position, and in descending order, with the DVD drive. This plays a multitude of formats, which are detailed in the table you can see at the end of the chapter.
To his left is the port for wireless connections, and under this, two slots for memory cards. Below we have a button to adjust frequency, so that the wireless commands do not interfere with each other.
Then we find the button on / off switch, which also helps us to change their menus, and the ring of light around him. This will be enormously useful to us on several occasions, as in the case of multiplayer games in which the screen is divided. Well, then ignited simultaneously in the console and the command of the fourth ring with the corresponding quarter of the screen on which to play the appropriate player, when we find ourselves in a game for four users.
And we will have to complete two USB 2.0 ports, which can connect all of our stuff. Since digital imaging devices, memory, hard drives, to recognize up storage devices using PSP. And even when turned off the console is still operating, we can take advantage of these ports for uses such as recharging the batteries on the remote, if necessary, so no need to be worrying about whether or not we will pad batteries when we get to play.
Speaking of the peripherals must influence the stardom that manages the remote wireless, presenting an incredibly comfortable and ergonomic worthy of praise, something that has been recognized numerous media professionals and associated with the world of video games. If we add this to a great simplicity of use, we found the perfect complement to spend hours of great entertainment with the console. Their pads and more accurate levers, buttons above, triggers analog and two independent vibration systems allow us to use up to 9 feet away for 40 hours and if we use batteries or 25 if we have rechargeable batteries.
Can simultaneously connect up to 4 controls piques exciting to live with rival of flesh and bone. We need to emphasize that it i s possible to turn on and off the console from the pad, so it's over the bend every time you want to play.
In addition to this we have also the remote possibility with cable, just as well, but obviously with less freedom, which also serves to play on the computer.
Another peripheral is the universal command. Its buttons are backlit and we will use it to make the most of the console and media center, because Microsoft wants the Xbox 360 is not just a game but also a true multimedia activity center. It allows us to access digital content from a PC with Windows XP Media Center Edition.
Headphone and microphone will have to devise strategies or talking with friends on Xbox Live, connecting to the command, without having to plug it in to the console. And also we will find a camera for video conferencing through the Xbox Live online service, and may be able to enjoy games that are able to detect movements.
Nor missing memory cards from 64 MB-suited to recover for example our progress and achievements in different games on a console a friend, the wireless network adapter, the charging
cable of command, and interchangeable covers for the console .
Another option available on the Xbox 360 is the hard drive (already included as standard on all of the current generation Xbox). Depending on the pack to buy (if it is the most cost-Core-come without him), we can forget the classic and memory cards for storing our records or items. In this way we'll enjoy more power to take the hard drive saved our data, dump our collection of music to listen to the different games that incorporate this possibility and customize it while we play with them and download new levels, characters or vehicles. But as Xbox Live goes a step beyond what is seen in the current generation, we must add to all this stuff so unlikely as different demo versions available for downloading games, videos, titles on the Xbox Live and other surprises that are a step beyond what until now have seen our eyes.

It is important to say that those users of the current Xbox that they have in mind to buy the new Xbox 360 or those who have thought about playing for a title of the first to enjoy with gems such as Halo or Fable among many others, in the Xbox 360, is will be forced to take a hard disk on which to store the patches that ensure its backward compatibility.

Its interface:
In the multimedia area visualize our photos, videos and music, both own cards from outside, as the content downloaded from Xbox Live. And how could it be otherwise, there is the possibility to enjoy our favorite music even while we are playing, replacing the soundtrack of video games, but obviously not its effects, as they will be equally spectacular, either, as it is almost This excellent option that we were able to prove in the current Xbox.
Among the options out the option of parental control of content, where Microsoft is a pioneer. This will enable control through the password to access the various players to certain content that is governed by the PEGI rating. With this it is intended that parents can have control over the games to which their children have access. Because as we all know, games are not just something for children.

XBOX LIVE:
The current Xbox has become a landmark thanks to all who have the best system of online multiplayer ones, in anticipation of its competitors, for something more than two million subscribers. So Microsoft recognizes it has transferred all his previous experience with the new
Xbox 360, even better, and opening a range of possibilities that until now were unique to the PC that did not exist or on any other platform.
At last, from a console you can chat with our friends (including voice and video) into or out of the game, download demos and trailers of different games, including a future in movies, masks and items to give more life to look that this interface by changing the appearance of the menus or the profile of the player, mini-games, and added to new levels or different titles (the
latter is possible also with the Xbox).
How can we access all of these downloads?. Well, the answer is very simple, everything will be done through what is called Bazar.
As a small part of that content for purchase, Microsoft has created the Microsoft Points, something like a virtual currency.
Buy Points is like deposit money into a special account to use during Bazar Xbox Live. Will be purchased directly at the Bazaar with our credit card, or purchasing a gift card number and use that card to buy your Points. At times we exisitirán promotions Microsoft Points given away without any costs incurred.
But the surprises do not end here for Xbox Live, because it introduced a service in which users can buy and sell content created for them. An example that you clarify this would be the creation of an appearance or skin of a car belonging to a video game, which would acquire other users and therefore give us a certain amount of Microsoft Points.
Online multiplayer mode, ensure the best service available in the market for those securities that support it, there are also the option to not only participate but attend as a spectator to the most interesting duels that have occurred. Can you imagine from the outside following an exciting race cars between users?. Well not have to wait long, because with Project Gotham Racing 3 will be possible from the day when the console is launched. And the list of products that allow it will increase.
The tournament will be organized in Xbox Live users to participate also follow the trend of what is expected for a new generation of consoles. A tournament official who will compete in various games he might join other much like the original "better equipped car" or "better map created with an editor."
Another thing to highlight the new Xbox Live is the intelligent matchmaking. Now when we want to play online, console, by default, we match with players from our profile, with similar skills and accomplishments. So it will end that we machaquen soon start playing.

Backward OF XBOX 360:
Fortunately, Microsoft confirmed several months ago that the Xbox 360 would be compatible with games for Xbox. This is obviously a decision that many will not seem very important but that hides the concern of a hardware manufacturer by the user, especially buyers of a previous system.
First define retrocompatabilidad as the possibility of playing in a new console launches with previous titles for its predecessor. In this case would be those of the Xbox on the Xbox 360. Start the list of games that run on the PAL version of the new Next Gen is 156, running through a series of patches developed for this.
Those who have never had an Xbox, they were introduced just as the ideal opportunity to experience the intense emotions they convey products such as Halo 1 and 2, Project Gotham Racing 2 or Top Spin, is currently at an attractive price (29.99 euros ).
It may seem little backward because the list of missing major titles, but since CanalGame.com guarantee that you will grow and it is expected that nearly all the games-to-least important of the current Xbox will join those already are compatible. And is that since the American company is arguing for active and passive that their efforts will achieve maximum, and in the coming months will be offered to the holder of the new Microsoft Next Gen of the possibility of updating the list.
This update will be done through the Xbox Live service and the Official Xbox Magazine in its 360-DVD-giving us the opportunity to access the patches that are published
